Had to soak it and scape it into the trash. You never said what you used to bake it on or if it needed to be greased or anything! Broken my toddler heart that she couldn't paint it because it didn't come out :(
I just made this exact recipe, it made one pumpkin, for me anyways. I baked it on a jelly roll pan without any spray or lining. It came off just fine and is cooling now to paint. Thank you for this, super cute!!

You can find other salt dough recipes online. I used this same recipe to make ornaments and they cracked. When baking use a cookie pan with either parchment paper ir foil easy clean
I did this for the first time after csrfully fighting to get it off pan i placed upside down on rack since top cooked ...but total cooking time for me was 4 hrs then i painted it bc it turned black from pan and stuck ...it looks like it might crack .....looking for a new recipe
Wouldn't it disintegrate being a stepping stone outside in the rain and snow? And if animals will eat it why would I want to put it outside as a stepping stone?

DeleteTry 1 cup flour 1/4 cup salt, 7 tbsspn of water,need for 10 mins..until smooth, cook on 300° for 45 mins..cook on a plain baking pan.
